1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible

Our 1970 Torino GT Convertible was located by Apex for one of our customers. This customer grew up in the passenger seat of a similar car owned by his brother. He came to us to locate and build his childhood dream car. This car was a frame on restoration. We removed all body panels and worked them hard as we knew the Brittany Blue paint would show any flaws. We boxed the frame and lowered the car over an inch to aid in stability and handling. Wilwood brakes were installed on all four corners, and a Windsor-based 427 stroker motor was installed, mated to a Tremec 5-speed transmission. Sway bars, a laser stripe and a leather interior were added to this Torino, this is a fan favorite.
